There remains no change at Canterbury Council in Kent as no party has been able to gain an overall majority.

After the election, the political composition of the council is as follows:

• Labour – 18 (+8)
• Liberal Democrats – 9 (+3)
• Conservatives – 8 (-15)
• Green – 4 (+4)
