No Elections in 2023

The London Borough of Newham last held elections in May 2022. The 2022 elections took place under new election boundaries, which increased the number of councillors from 60 to 66. The election coincided with an election for the Mayor of Newham after a referendum resulted in the borough keeping a directly elected mayor. The council is run by the Mayor, Rokhsana Fiaz.

The distribution of seats is as follows

  • Green Party (2)
